With an average IMDb score of 5.7 from over 17 horror movies released in 1991 it was a pretty average year for horror movies overall. We got some great ones (The Silence of the Lambs and Naked Lunch) but we also got some serious crap too - just look (or maybe don't) at Alligator II: The Mutation (1991) and Curse III: Blood Sacrifice (1991) for example.
