With an average IMDb score of 6.7 from over 15 horror movies released in 1963 you could say it was actually a pretty good year for horror movies. Sure there were some duds (Blood Feast, The Day of the Triffids), but we also got some real gems like The Birds (1963) and The Haunting (1963) to name just a few.
