With an average IMDb score of 6.6 from over 22 horror movies released in 1971 you could say it was actually a pretty good year for horror movies. Sure there were some duds (The Brotherhood of Satan, Vampyros Lesbos), but we also got some real gems like The Devils (1971) and The Third Part of the Night (1971) to name just a few.
